Transportation of Dangerous GoodsBearskin Airlines accepts dangerous goods for carriage, when prepared in accordance with either the IATA (International Air Transport Association) regulations, or Section 12 of the TDG (Canadian Regulations). Full 3-Day CourseThis interactive course is designed for the customer who expects to ship a wide range of products containing dangerous goods. It gives comprehensive coverage of the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations including how to use the IATA book, classification, preparing a package for transport, completion of a Shippers Declaration, and the Canadian Regulations as they apply to air transport. 2 Day Course (Product Specific)This course is recommended for shippers that have previous experience in dangerous goods or require training in only one or two specific types of dangerous goods. This course has less "hands on" experience than the 3-day course, but still covers the same course material, with less emphasis on International shipments. 1 Day General AwarenessThis course is intended for companies that wish to become familiar with the concepts of Dangerous Goods. Provides an understanding of what Dangerous Goods are, recognition of hidden Dangerous Goods, general requirements for compliance with Dangerous Goods Regulations and a brief overview of both IATA and Canadian Regulations.
